I was born in Istanbul, Turkey in 1957 and moved to New York in 1980. I earned my BA in marketing from New York University and worked as a financial analyst in banking.
I started photographing with my first camera at the age of eleven, when as a family we took a trip through Europe. My passion was rekindled a few years ago traveling around France with my own family. Most recently, I studied at the International Center of Photography with photographers Dina Litovsky, Natan Dvir, Anja Hitzenberger and Barbara Mensch. Currently I am studying with Christopher Giglio.
I am a street photographer and documentarian. I create images that are objective and realistic.
